The Role

We are recruiting to the role of Student Futures Co-ordinator to support our ambitious Student Futures team. This is an exciting opportunity to join us as we roll out a new strategy aimed at further enhancing student success, employability and graduate outcomes, helping students develop the skills, experiences and confidence needed to thrive in today's competitive labour market.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging and creative social media content and communications campaigns, including the creation of video content and student-facing resources.
• Supporting the planning and delivery of Student Futures events, workshops, careers fairs, seminars, employer engagement activities and University Open Days.
• Researching, promoting and sharing employment, placement and internship opportunities whilst supporting wider departmental projects, administration and operational activities.
• Acting as the first point of contact for students, visitors and colleagues

The successful candidate will have skills and experience in:

• Delivering excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement within a busy environment.
• Coordinating events, projects or activities and successfully delivering outcomes to agreed deadlines.
• Using social media platforms and digital content creation tools to engage student audiences.
• Strong organisational, administrative and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
