Senior Research Associate (Fixed Term)

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Postdoctoral Research Associate position in the group of Professor Sam Behjati (Professor of Paediatrics) in the Department of Paediatrics.

Contribution to excellence in research will be as a member of a research team carrying out research at a similar level to that undertaken by lecturing staff and will provide substantial scope for academic judgement, originality, interpretation and presentation of results. The role holder will assist with grant administration and the writing of reports for funding bodies. Contribution to teaching will include assistance in the presentation of seminars and may include participation in the research group's teaching programme. The role holder will participate in the overall contribution of the Department of Paediatrics.

We welcome applications from technically exceptional candidates with a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems, AI, or Data Science). Evidence of independent problem-solving are essential. Also, exceptional communication, networking and teamwork skills. Please review the Further Particulars for the full Personal Specification.
