Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy

We are looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our School of Health at Leeds Beckett University as a full-time and permanent Lecturer Grade 8. Job share or part-time roles would be considered. The postholder will teach and support students across both the BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy and pre-registration MSc Occupational Therapy. As such we are looking for someone who shares our passion for high-quality education and has a strong vision for how education and research can transform health care. You will have an appreciation of issues facing occupational therapy, contemporary higher education, clinical practice, and health services nationally.

The role will lie within the Subject group of ‘Rehabilitation and Health Professions’ which provides undergraduate and postgraduate pre-registration education on our Dietetics, Nutrition, Physiotherapy courses, Occupational Therapy courses, Sports and Exercise Therapy courses and post-registration education for MSc Sports and Exercise Medicine course. Expectations and benefits

The successful candidate will be a registered Occupational Therapist and have current experience in academia or recent experience as an evidence-based practitioner. You will have current or recent relevant professional and/or teaching experience in order to teach across our range of pre- and post- registration courses. You should be research active and have a strong professional profile that complements the team. Experience of working in higher education is highly desirable.
