This is a unique opportunity to join Warwick Biomedical Sciences as its Technical Services Manager, leading the Biomedical Sciences Technical Support function that works across 2 sites - one at Gibbet Hill Campus and the other at the Clinical Sciences Research Laboratories at UHCW. About You
You will be an experienced technical services leader with a strong track record of managing laboratory-based teams, specialist facilities and scientific infrastructure within a complex research or higher education environment.
You will combine sound knowledge of laboratory health and safety, statutory compliance and governance with the ability to plan strategically, manage budgets and competing priorities, and deliver practical improvements to services, systems and equipment.
A collaborative and credible communicator, you will be confident working with staff, students, senior leaders, professional services and external partners, while developing people, supporting change and fostering a positive, inclusive and safety-focused culture.
