About the Role
We are seeking a proactive, organised Trial Manager to join the Department of Bone & Joint Health, in collaboration with the Pragmatic Clinical Trials Unit (PCTU), within the Centre for Evaluation and Methods at Queen Mary University of London.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to support delivery of the CAD study, working closely with a multidisciplinary research team. You will coordinate and manage the study, ensuring it is delivered efficiently, on time, in line with regulatory and governance requirements.
You will be involved in trial activities including site set-up, maintaining documentation, coordinating meetings, supporting data collection and management, and liaising with sites and stakeholders. You will also assist with monitoring progress, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and study protocols.
Working closely with senior colleagues, you will contribute to the smooth running of the trial while developing your skills and experience in clinical trial management.
About You
You hold a degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant subject and have experience working in a clinical research/trials environment.
You should have a good understanding of research governance and clinical trial processes, including ethics and regulatory requirements. Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is desirable.
You will be highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills are essential, working with researchers, clinicians and trial site staff.
You should be confident with IT systems, including databases, spreadsheets and document management systems, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
A flexible, proactive approach and willingness to learn are key to success in this role.
