About the role:

Do you want to apply your technical skills and experience of information systems and technology?  This is an opportunity to put your technical skills into practice, helping contribute to maintaining, improving and automating the digital systems and processes that support students and staff across the world class Imperial College School of Medicine.

The School of Medicine is one of the world’s top medical schools at one of the world’s most respected universities. At the forefront of medical education, your work here will help create the next generation of doctors and scientists—benefiting patients and populations globally.

What you would be doing:

You will:

  • Provide technical support for the School’s Student Database (SDB), including data entry, checking and data quality activities, and assist with the maintenance of student records and electronic folders.
  • Support the technical administration of student surveying and feedback systems, assisting with survey distribution, monitoring, troubleshooting and the implementation of new functionality and automation.
  • Support the development and maintenance of online forms, applications and automated workflows using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and across Faculty processes.
  • Carry out testing, troubleshooting and routine maintenance of digital systems and automated solutions, maintaining accurate testing records, version controls, technical documentation, user guides and process records.

What we are looking for:

  • A technically capable and detail-oriented administrator with hands-on experience of working with data systems, automated workflows and online platforms in a professional environment. You will bring a logical approach to problem-solving, a strong eye for accuracy and the confidence to support and maintain technical solutions that underpin key processes across the Faculty of Medicine.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Qualtrics, with experience of relational databases and programming languages such as SQL or Python, and enthusiasm to utilise technology to enhance how we manage and use information.

What we can offer you:

  • The opportunity to continue your career at a world-leading institution and be part of our mission to use science for humanity.
  • Benefit from a sector-leading salary and remuneration package (including 41 days' annual leave and generous pension schemes).
  • Access to a range of workplace benefits including a flexible working policy from day one, generous family leave packages, on-site leisure facilities and cycle-to-work scheme.
  • Interest-free season ticket loan schemes for travel.
  • Be part of a diverse, inclusive and collaborative work culture with various staff networks and resources to support your personal and professional wellbeing.

We are a friendly and collaborative team, with a passion for providing students and staff with high-quality programme support and ensuring an excellent experience for all our stakeholders.
