The Faculty of Theology and Religion is seeking to appoint a Research Centre Coordinator to provide professional operational and project coordination to the Centre at an exciting stage in its development.
The Centre is an interdisciplinary hub within the Faculty of Theology and Religion that brings together academics, churches, civil society organisations and policymakers through research, partnerships, events and public engagement, with an expanding programme of work on humanism, democracy, emerging technologies, pluralism, environmental justice, and the common good.
The successful candidate will play a central role in enabling the Director's academic leadership, research, public engagement, partnership development and fundraising activities.
The Research Centre Coordinator will provide executive support, stakeholder liaison, communications, event delivery and operational coordination, financial monitoring, ensuring the effective administration and delivery of the Centre's activities and supporting the Director in achieving the Centre's priorities.

You will be an organised and resourceful professional with experience supporting complex research, academic or programme-based activities, managing competing priorities, tracking delivery against plans and ensuring that actions are completed on schedule. You will be comfortable coordinating a range of stakeholders, maintaining project plans and action logs, organising events, monitoring deadlines and contributing to effective reporting and financial administration.
A confident communicator, you will be skilled at building positive working relationships across diverse groups, from academics and researchers to professional services colleagues, external partners and international collaborators. You will enjoy working collaboratively and providing high-quality operational support in a dynamic research environment.
Above all, you will be proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused, with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
