Strategy and Planning are seeking a maternity cover arrangement, to undertake the duties of our (Grade 8) Senior Strategic Planner.
The Senior Strategic Planner takes responsibility for designing and delivering innovative analysis and insight that can be used to significantly inform University strategy. Part of this role involves making available to a wider audience the tools the post-holder uses to derive these insights in the form or user-focused Management Information Systems (MIS) in support of external market intelligence and performance/activity benchmarking, NSS and league table comparative analysis and forecasting, to help deliver on critical University strategic objectives and targets around recruitment – particularly widening access, RUK, International and Postgraduate student growth, and performance – particularly for Teaching and Research -related metrics used in TEF/REF/league tables. In addition, the Senior Strategic Planner is responsible for the delivery of internal University wide analyses for each Faculty/Dept./School combining Staff, Financial, Research, KE and Student metrics to provide senior management with a holistic view of cross-University comparators, alongside sector data.
