About the Role
We are seeking organised, proactive and student-focused Programme Officers to join the Education and Student Experience Team within the Faculty of Science and Engineering on a 12-month fixed-term basis. These roles play a key role in delivering high-quality programme administration and support to students and academic colleagues across the Faculty.
Working closely with Programme Managers, academic staff and colleagues across the wider Faculty, Programme Officers are responsible for coordinating a broad range of activities that support the student lifecycle. This includes student focused timetabling, module registration, programme development and committee support. The role also provides expert guidance to students and staff, helping to ensure services are delivered efficiently, consistently and in line with University regulations and procedures.
You will act as a key point of contact for Programme Directors and Module Organisers, supporting the effective delivery of taught programmes while contributing to the Faculty's education priorities and initiatives. The role offers a varied workload, opportunities to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and the chance to make a meaningful impact on the student experience.
About You
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about supporting students and delivering excellent administrative services. You will have experience of working in a higher education or similar administrative environment, with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
The successful candidate will have experience of student administration, academic timetabling, committee support, module registration or related areas within higher education would be advantageous, as would experience of systems such as SITS, Moodle, Salesforce or Scientia.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience within higher education administration while contributing to an outstanding student experience.
