About the Role
For informal queries about the role, please contact Rob Morgan, Chief Finance Officer (Estates), at Robert.W.Morgan@warwick.ac.uk.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time basis, despite the position being advertised as full-time. We welcome applications from candidates seeking a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Join the University at a pivotal moment as we deliver two of our most significant capital investment projects, with annual budgets of more than £150m over the next three years. This is a high-profile opportunity to play a central role in the financial management of major developments that will help shape the future of our estate and support world-class teaching, research and collaboration.
You will work closely with the University Capital Accountant, programme sponsors, Estates Directors and senior Finance colleagues, gaining excellent exposure across the organisation. The role offers the chance to take ownership of broad responsibilities across the projects, including financial reporting, cashflow forecasting, contractor liaison, payment certification and commercial risk mitigation.
Your work will directly inform University treasury planning and support confident decision-making across major project delivery. By ensuring valuations, certifications and payments are processed smoothly, you will help maintain strong supplier relationships, support commercial control and keep major works moving at pace.
Embedded within the University’s delivery team, you will build valuable expertise in capital and project accounting while developing trusted relationships across Estates, Procurement, Finance AP, Treasury and Group Accounting. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to combine technical financial expertise with meaningful business partnering on a programme of real scale and visibility.
