Salary from £43,277 to £51,714 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £55,497 pa inclusive of London allowance
The Department of Management is seeking a dynamic self-starter to join the Careers, Alumni, and Employer Relations (CAER) team, to build upon our alumni engagement strategy.
We are the largest department in the School, with over 70 faculty, 50 professional services staff and associate guest lecturers and teachers. The Department has over 350 UG students, 800 MSc students, 30 PhD students and 150 Executive students. More information about our programmes is available at: www.lse.ac.uk/management/programmes. The Department has a community of over 22,000 alumni.
As Alumni Relations Manager, you will develop and oversee the delivery of a coordinated programme of alumni events, that benefits both the alumni and current student community. You will work within the Careers, Alumni, and Employer Relations (CAER) team to ensure that the alumni relations strategy is integrated into the overall strategy of the team, and that it supports the employability and success of both the current students and alumni. Another main component of the role is to lead on developing data-driven marketing and communications strategies to drive alumni engagement with the Department of Management.
This is an exciting role that requires strong collaboration and organization skills. Candidates should have previous experience working in a alumni relations, philanthropy, business development role or related area. An understanding of the alumni relations profession and managing external relationships is also important. Additionally, excellent communication and networking skills; and the ability to initiate projects are key to this role. You’ll need to be strategically-focused, and be confident in using data and market insights to inform your decisions.
We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave, hybrid working and excellent training and development opportunities.
