An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Research Associate to join the School of Health Sciences to work with Dr Carole Gardener.
You will join a project seeking to adapt a health care intervention that enables delivery of person-centred care for carers (https://csnat.org) so that it can be used with young carers.
Working with the PI, you will organise and carry out Patient & Public Involvement (PPI) work, organise and carry out qualitative data collection with young carers and relevant stakeholders, and contribute to the adaptation of the Carer Support Needs Assessment Tool Intervention (CSNAT-I) for use with young carers.
There will also be opportunities to participate in dissemination activities and to contribute to the academic life of the School through participation in research seminars and appropriate School meetings.
While working under supervision, you will plan and manage your own research activity in collaboration with others and take significant initiatives in your work, consulting with the Principal Investigator over the details of the project.
You will have a postgraduate level qualification, equivalent qualification or experience in a relevant research area. You will also have experience of independent research, have publications in respected journals or equivalent strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to analyse qualitative data.
