About us
The UKRI Centre for Doctoral Training in Safe and Trusted Artificial Intelligence (STAI CDT), is led by King’s College London in collaboration with Imperial College London and was established in 2019 to equip PhD students with the skills and experience to develop AI that is safe, trusted, and responsible.
About the role
This role comes at an exciting time for the CDT, as in the next few years it will evolve from the STAI CDT to the Safe, Trusted and Responsible AI (STaR-AI) doctoral programme, which will develop PhD students who understand the technical challenges of building safe and trustworthy AI, can engage critically with its human and societal implications, and can work confidently across disciplines to ensure AI technologies have positive impact.
The role is an opportunity for an experienced Communications Manager to deliver strategic and operational communications support to raise the profile of the CDT and increase engagement with external partners. The role holder will be responsible for developing the communications strategy for the evolution from STAI to STaR-AI, and for managing the CDT’s digital channels, growing engagement rates, followers and reach amongst key audiences.
This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent. This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for one year.
