The National Maritime Museum supports high-quality research on its collections and related subjects and invites applications for the following fellowship: Caird Senior Research Fellowship,£20,000 per annum.

Post-doctoral level or equivalent

The fellowship is tenable for one year to support high-quality research on the Museum’s collections or in any field of British naval and maritime history.

In 2018 the Museum will be celebrating the 250th anniversary of the departure of Cook's first voyage. We therefore encourage applications relating to the maritime exploration of the Pacific in the 18th and 19th centuries, in particular those of James Cook.
