Research Data Support Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced individual to promote and manage our research data management service including the storage, preservation, and discoverability of the Institution’s research data assets.

Under the direction of the Library’s Content & Digital Infrastructure Manager and in close cooperation with the Research Data Management Working Group, the Research Data Support Manager is responsible for supporting and developing the service and engaging proactively with St George’s community of researchers in the provision of training, guidance, and awareness support. You will also work closely with Jisc and other participating institutions on a pilot project to develop a research data shared service. (More information on this project is available at: The post-holder will work closely with other Library teams and in partnership with the Institution’s stakeholders, including the Joint Research & Enterprise Office and the Computing Department to ensure a cohesive and researcher-centric service is provided.
