Sussex University has ambitious plans for learning and teaching, and we are looking for an excellent software developer with understanding of full-stack development and software deployment to join us in our quest to build great multimedia systems for our students.
You will be part of the Learning systems and Multimedia team with a primary focus on the design, development, maintenance and integration of key multimedia systems such as lecture capture.
You will be required to design solutions to meet requirements, produce high quality technical design documentation, deliver new functionality using a mixture of proprietary software solutions and in–house development, and write code that is robust, structured and re-useable.
The role will be involved in the development of multimedia systems, including the University’s lecture capture solution. You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our learning systems to a high standard, and integrating with other key university systems.
Essential Requirements for this role are:
- Experience of implementation and deployment of proprietary software solutions
- Experience of software integration
- Experience of providing support for proprietary applications and interfaces
