We are seeking applications from suitably qualified persons with Pharmacy degrees with PhD. Applicants must be qualified to be registered with  Brunei Darussalam Pharmacy Board or the General Pharmaceutical Council in UK (GPhC) or its equivalent, a strong academic background with a minimum Master level qualification is required and a demonstrated ability in university undergraduate teaching. Successful applicant must be able to teach undergraduate teaching and clinical practices in Pharmacy related courses.

We seek a skilled Pharmacy Practice expert with commitment and ability to excite students’ interest and integrate key concepts in providing clinical practice for students to optimize the use of medication and promote health, wellness and disease prevention. Successful applicant will be expected to teach wide areas of the fundamental in the discipline of pharmacy including Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy Practices as well as Professional conduct and leadership skills.

While the appointee is actively encouraged to pursue his/her own research programmes, he/she is also expected to forge cooperative links in research and other related matters with Faculty members, within the university as well as other institutions overseas, as part of his/her contribution in the development of the PAPRSB Institute of Health Sciences, Universiti Brunei Darussalam.

UBD Salary and Fringe Benefits 

Salary range per annum: -

Lecturer (with PhD) - between BND40,680 to BND53,280
Assistant Professor / Senior Assistant Professor - between BND49,560 to BND76, 920
Associate Professor - between BND87,600 to BND90,120
Professor -  between BND105,600 to BND230,400 

Bonus payment after each 12 months of satisfactory service.
Gratuity payment of 25% of last drawn basic monthly salary x 36 months. Payable at the end of the contract. 

No personal income tax scheme in Brunei Darussalam on income earned
