Liverpool John Moores University - Liverpool Business School

Liverpool John Moores University seeks to appoint to this new position in the Liverpool Business School. Reporting to the Dean, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for the School’s UG and PGT programmes and will be a member of the Faculty Management Team. This is an exciting time in the School’s development as from January 2017 the Liverpool Business School will acquire separate faculty status within the University.  

The School has a strong record of achievement in teaching and learning as reflected in the National Student Survey and other external surveys which place the Liverpool Business School in the top quartile in its group of universities. Building on this strength the School has initiated an ambitious plan to support further development in research, scholarship and teaching and learning to generate growth and diversification in regional, national and international markets. To support this development the University is making a significant investment to expand the academic staff base.

You will, first and foremost, be an academic and thought leader who will work with colleagues, to ensure the Liverpool Business School is positioned at the cutting edge of regional, national, and international developments in business education and leadership.

Through its diverse academic portfolio and excellent research pipeline, the School is committed to working in partnership with stakeholders to meet the challenges of 21st century. It has a range of very strong links with civic and business organisations in the Liverpool City Region as well as the not for profit social enterprise sectors and professional bodies representing a wide variety of Industries.
