This is a full-time, indefinite contract.

We are seeking a dynamic and pro-active Coordinator for The Dickson Poon Transnational Law Institute and the Yeoh Tiong Lay Centre for Politics, Philosophy and Law. The Institute and Centre are integrated into The Dickson Poon School of Law and their formation has been achieved through the major donations from Sir Dickson Poon and the family of Law alumnus Mr Mark Yeoh. The School has enjoyed a tradition of excellence for over 175 years and is recognised as one of the world’s top law schools.

The coordinator will join the School’s dynamic and friendly Professional Services team and will work very closely with the Directors of the Institute and Centre.

The Coordinator will provide a first-class and comprehensive service for The Dickson Poon Transnational Law Institute and the Yeoh Tiong Lay Centre for Politics, Philosophy and Law to include: event and conference organisation and management (from inception to completion) for a full schedule of signature and often high-profile events, budget management, research, and marketing and communications.

This post will appeal to an experienced, hands-on professional administrator who will become a representative/ambassador for the Institute and Centre. It requires the ability to ‘think globally’ and a knowledge of and interest in the legal profession, government and global current affairs. The post-holder will become fully involved and identify with the work of the Institute and the Centre.
