About Anglia Ruskin University
Our vibrant, modern University is gaining prominence both nationally and internationally and we have ambitious plans for our future. Our main campuses in the cities of Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough have been transformed with major capital investments. With an annual turnover of over £200m, we are a major force for higher education in the East of England.
About the Role
As Assistant Head of UK/EU Admissions (Systems), you’ll manage and be responsible for key aspects of our admissions service including developing our strategy in business critical areas. This demanding, varied, customer focussed role will require you to lead and motivate a team, and to interpret policy into effective practice as well as participating in the strategic planning and development of UK/EU Admissions. We’re building on our successful recruitment of UK/EU students by further improving conversion from applicants and enquirers. Working closely with senior admissions and recruitment colleagues, in a busy, friendly and supportive environment, you’ll be responsible for the development and delivery of an outstanding applicant service. You’ll also act as lead adviser for Admissions, with advanced standing and data quality.
With a degree and previous successful management experience in a Higher Education environment, you must be able to organise and prioritise your own workload and work proactively and without direct supervision. You’ll be IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
Please direct informal enquiries to Sue Metcalfe, Head of UK/EU Admissions, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
