Our Library staff play a major role in delivering a world-class study environment for University students, staff, and the general public. We aim to deliver a consistently high standard of services across our 5 Library sites: the Western Bank Library, the Diamond, the Information Commons and the two sites of the Health Sciences Library.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Library's Research Support Unit at the University of Sheffield as we are seeking to recruit two part-time Research Services Assistants. You will join a high performing team supporting researchers to engage with and benefit from developments in scholarly communications. You will contribute to making the University's research outputs openly available, providing responsive enquiry services on the processes, tools and requirements that underpin our commitment to open research.
We are looking for individuals with an interest in developments in scholarly communication and a commitment to providing high quality services to researchers. You will enjoy being part of a busy team, must be able to work accurately and meticulously and will be able to adapt rapidly to new tasks and working practices in response to the dynamic nature of the research support landscape.
