Funds Officer

University of the West of England, Bristol - Student Services Department

Our Student Services department are now looking for someone to join the funds team on a part time (29.5 hours) fixed term basis until the 31 July 2018 or the earlier return of the post holder.

The post holder will be responsible in supporting the delivery of front line funds support and advice to students.

The Funds team administer the university's learner support funds and the post holder will be advising students regarding eligibility, means testing and assessing student applications and support.

The post holder will also provide administrative support within the team.

Please note that this post will involve face to face contact with students, often in difficult circumstances.

There will also be a small amount of money handling involved from the emergency fund.

The role will require you to work approximately 29.5 hours per week, with some flexibility around which days the post holder can work.
