Database and Workflow Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the greatest collections in the world.

The External Conservation and Preservation Team are seeking to appoint a Database and Workflow Manager to manage a yearly prioritisation database and process. The post-holder will be responsible for workflow analysis, writing policies and procedures, co-ordinate the preparation and implementation of competitive tendering for external conservation, bidding, boxing and preservation surrogacy and will support the vision and re-development of the department.

To be successful in the role you will have a demonstrable administrative or financial background and direct experience of workflow analysis, database management and some tendering experience. You will have strong data management skills, experience in performing SharePoint 2010/2013 administration, and be able to write reports and procedure guidelines as requested. You have very good interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to communicate complex information, and novel ideas clearly and concisely. You should also be highly self-motivated and have the ability to use your initiative and work independently without close supervision.
