You will be responsible for software licence management within the IT Service, including procurement, vendor liaison, annual contract review/renewal, administration, technical support, distribution and control. The ability to effectively communicate with and influence colleagues at all levels is essential.

You will develop and implement service standards and processes, possess significant practical experience of managing large and complex software licence contracts and multiple vendors, and a sound understanding of the related challenges, ensuring value for money. Experience in a software license or software asset management role and managing multiple software licence contracts in a large and complex organisation is essential.

You should hold a degree, an equivalent level of study, or relevant professional qualifications. A formal practitioner qualification in software asset management is desirable, and evidence of CPD.
