Research Manager

University of Roehampton - Research Office

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our Research Office as a Research Manager. The Research Manager will oversee all research bidding activities, and will lead a team of Research Facilitators, based in our ten academic departments, to support and develop research activity especially in relation to the external funding bids, the impact and dissemination of research, as well as contributing to a vibrant research environment. The role holder will work alongside colleagues in the central Research Office to support the work of our academics and the University’s strategic initiatives.

The successful candidate will have outstanding communication skills, be an effective team player and will have the ability to lead a diverse team of experienced Research Facilitators. Previous experience of working in a vibrant research environment is strongly desired.
