TEL Analyst

Open University

Fixed-term contract until 31 July 2019

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to support the Open University in the use of learning analytics and broader evidence to inform design of successful, engaging and student-centred distance learning experiences. As a member of the TEL Design team, you will work in partnership with other team members, academic experts and colleagues from across the University to support this work across the OU curriculum.

You will have knowledge and experience of analysing qualitative and quantitative data to provide insight and to inform decision making. You will also be used to working with academics/clients, understand their needs for evidence and to work to find ways to deliver the insights required. Equally important will be your people and communication skills in terms of presenting and justifying your findings clearly and succinctly, and working with TEL Designers to facilitate and influence decision making that leads to successful student experiences.
