We are pleased to offer this exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of thinking about how data science can inform student experience at university. The role will sit within the newly-established ‘What Works Unit’ embedded within the Policy Institute at King’s College London and part of the Social Mobility and Student Success Division.

We are seeking someone enthusiastic to develop King’s capacity in data science–drawing in all available data sources to develop a picture of the student experience at King’s, and understanding what factors predict disengagement, low satisfaction, and post-university outcomes.

The successful candidate will apply high-level quantitative skills to these issues and actively seek to remain abreast of the state of the art in both learner analytics and big data techniques, while also having an eye on how the findings of this research can be used to drive social mobility and student success in the institution.

The selection process will include a presentation, an assessment and a panel interview.

Interviews are scheduled to be held the week commencing: 15 January 2018
