Graduate Trainee Librarian

University of Cambridge

 (1-Year Fixed-Term Renewable Contract)

The College is looking to appoint a Graduate Trainee Librarian to assist and support the Taylor Librarian in running the College’s student library. The position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience of working in a well-used academic library and to acquire the skills necessary to pursue a career in librarianship. The Taylor Library is open to all members of the College including undergraduates, postgraduates, staff and Fellows. The shelf collection spans the full range of courses studied at Corpus, in keeping with the Library’s aim to provide essential texts for first and second year undergraduates. Working closely with the Taylor Librarian, the role will encompass all aspects of reader services, cataloguing and stock management.
