We have an exciting new opportunity for two Data Security and Compliance Advisers to join our expanding Information and Data Compliance Legal Team. You will provide assurance to the University Group in respect of data and information security compliance by contributing to the development, implementation and maintenance of the university’s data security and information compliance framework, including all associated policies, procedures and guidance. You will have responsibility for areas at the University as part of your portfolio.

You will provide service design standards to deliver effective information security and data protection management in new proposals, renewals and legacy arrangements. You will be responsible for designing architecture and security impact assessments as required by the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

You will work across the business and will be expected to work closely with the IDC department members and IT, to ensure information security and data protection risks are minimised and subjected to continual review.
