Project Manager

Lancaster University - ISS - Corporate Information Systems

Interview Date: Friday 09 February 2018

Are you an IT project manager looking for your next challenge? Do you have experience of working with customers and infrastructure teams, defining effective efficient business processes and the IT systems that underpin them? Are you passionate about Higher Education and the difference that good IT systems can make to research and the student experience?

Lancaster University was recently awarded The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018 University of the Year, and is consistently ranked among the country’s top ten universities. The Corporate Information Systems Group within ISS has built and integrated a wide range of systems in support of administration, learning and research at Lancaster University. We are eager to expand our team with the addition of a project manager to work with CIS and multiple customers from across the university and beyond, balancing the priorities of our customers and our resources and capabilities to keep everyone satisfied. You’ll help to ensure that our IT systems continue to be sector leading in reliability, usability and functionality.

You’ll have a strong track record in project management, negotiation and influencing skills, business analysis, and a passion for (if not direct experience of) Higher Education; you’ll be a natural communicator and relationship builder with an eye for detail and a passion for getting things done.
