INTO City, University of London is a joint venture between City, University of London and INTO University Partnerships (IUP). Established in 2009, INTO City offers a range of pre-university courses that prepare international students for undergraduate and postgraduate study. Based at the INTO City Centre (102 Middlesex St, London, E1) the INTO City, University of London Progression Officer will support delivery of INTO City programmes and the successful progression of INTO City students into City, University of London.

The role holder will provide INTO City students and staff with key information on City, University of London and support the engagement and familiarisation of INTO City students with the University.

They will deliver key business processes to support eligible INTO students in progressing through to City, University of London, including processing UCAS referrals and applications, dealing with queries, supporting INTO City's UCAS Clearing operations and issuing offers to eligible students.

Duties will also include providing reports and information on student progression and performance to the INTO City Centre and City, University of London and assisting with the registration and induction of new students at the centre.

Person Specification
The role holder will be educated to 'A' level or equivalent with experience of working in a busy customer focussed office environment, multi-tasking and dealing with people from a wide range of backgrounds.

They will have the ability to work effectively under own direction as well as part of a team and possess a high level interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Confident in the use of MS Office software and digital communication tools, the role holder will be highly organised with excellent time management and the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential issues.
