Springfield Professor of Sustainable Development (0.5 FTE)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of 0.5 Springfield Professor of Sustainable Development within the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Ambitious candidates with aspirations to progress to professorial status are particularly encouraged to apply.

The School of Architecture & the Built Environment is an active and thriving area within the University with good industrial links and professionally accredited programmes delivered in the UK and overseas. Expansion of the School will coincide with the move to brand new, custom built facilities as part of the University’s ongoing £250M investment program.

The new Springfield campus endeavours to make ABE a global centre of excellence. This position is meant to improve the quality of the next REF submission by bringing in a Professor who would contribute to the outputs. In addition, this Professor will be responsible for mentoring staff and helping with the compilation of the REF submission.
