Working in IT Services (ITS) you will be part of a leading enterprise architecture function that that is driving the technology strategy and enterprise architecture for the whole University. Expecting to operate at the highest levels of capability maturity (CMMI level 5) by 2020, the enterprise architect function is delivering a flexible, agile, service oriented and scalable architecture, based on cloud, business intelligence and master data management. A significant proportion of enterprise architecture work is also educating and informing the University about opportunities posed by new technologies e.g. machine learning, virtual/augmented reality, internet of things, artificial intelligence and personalised data driven experiences.

As principal analyst you will provide best practice analytical expertise in technology, data, scenario modelling and planning. You will deliver in depth market, external forces and trend analysis to project the impact of strategic initiatives on the IT Services organisation, skills and technologies. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of a strategic team that will transform the University. Opportunities of this scale are not widely available in the UK.

About you:  

To be considered for this role you’ll need to demonstrate experience of complex planning in an IT environment covering people, processes, data and technology. You’ll also have experience of analysing and interpreting data from a wide range of sources, delivering reports and briefing stakeholders.
