City seeks to recruit a Senior Information Assistant to manage, promote and develop our Inter Library Loans service in support of the learning, teaching and research objectives of the University.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective Inter Library Loans Service for the use of City, University of London staff and students, and for the supply of Inter Library Loan requests from other institutions.

Person Specification
The successful candidate will have experience in an academic library role. They will have excellent organisational skills and a proven ability to plan and undertake a range of tasks and manage their workload effectively. They will have the ability to manage and supervise staff, produce highly accurate work, together with excellent enquiry and problem solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and customer service experience is essential to enable effective interaction with library users, colleagues, academic staff, researchers and other stakeholders inside and outside the University.
