Volunteer Coordinator

University of Reading - University Museums and Special Collections Services

We are looking for an outstanding candidate to coordinate the University’s Museums and Special Collections volunteer programmes. Building on the success of our established programme involving more than 100 community and University volunteers, you will also lead the development of new joint volunteer management with Reading Museum as part of plans for our new National Portfolio Organisation, funded by Arts Council England.

You will have:

  • Experience of volunteering or volunteer management and best practice.
  • Ability and interpersonal skills to develop and plan a programme of volunteer activity in liaison with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead and develop a team, prioritise tasks, manage time effectively and work to and meet deadlines.
