Marketing Officer (Maternity Cover)

Salary/Grade: £24,983 to £28,936 pa - Grade 5

External Relations is a dynamic and creative Directorate which is responsible for the University’s internal and external engagement and communications, encompassing Marketing Services, Media and Communications, Development and Alumni and Student Recruitment and Admissions.

The Marketing team, responsible for the planning and delivery of strategic level integrated marketing and communication campaigns, require an experienced, creative and proactive Marketing Officer to join them.

As a confident marketer you will plan, co-ordinate and steer team members – including senior level colleagues – within the wider External Directorate and University, to execute innovative, successful campaigns assigned to you from within our portfolio. Broadly speaking, with the exception of student recruitment, our marketing campaigns will focus on brand development and profile, research and student experience.

As a key member of our team, you will be keen to be acknowledged as such through your work and character, and will thrive under the pressure of a fast-paced environment whilst contributing to a customer focused, cost effective and efficient external relations service.

This is a fixed term full-time contract, working 37 hours per week, for a 12 month maternity cover
