We are looking for two experienced Immigration Advisors to join our Staff Immigration Team in the heart of Oxford. Key responsibilities include: issuing certificates of sponsorship for Tier 2 and Tier 5 visas under the Home Office points based system; providing support to visa holders with their visa applications; providing advice and support to departments and colleges on all aspects immigration and compliance including sponsoring visa holders, reporting to the Home Office, right to work and invitations for Academic and Business visitors. This will involve visits to departments and colleges.

The post requires up-to-date knowledge of the Home Office points based system, preferably for Tier 2 and Tier 5 sponsorship; experience of interpreting complex policy; good analytical skills and judgement; excellent attention to detail; strong written and oral communications skills and customer service. A legal background and/or experience of the Home Office SMS system are desirable but not essential.

We will also consider less experienced applicants seeking a development opportunity, for which the initial appointment would be at Grade 4 (£21,585 – £24,983 p.a.), with duties adjusted accordingly. We therefore also welcome applications from people with excellent administration skills and attention to detail who would like to develop their career as an immigration professional.

Full training and mentoring would be available for the successful applicant.
