DTU Wind and Energy Systems invites applications for a position as professor in Wind Energy and Remote Sensing. The position focuses on remote sensing of wind and other quantities relevant for wind energy and how these measurements are used to validate models.
We need a professor in remote sensing to strengthen research in wind resource assessment, wind turbine loads and control, and other atmospheric quantities relevant for wind energy. Your research area aims at novel measurements of meteorological and fluid mechanical quantities and to relate those measurements to models. Remote sensing is used in all divisions of the Department of Wind and Energy Systems so the position requires collaborative skills.

You are able to attract national and international funding, lead large scale international research projects and publish and disseminate research at a high international level. You are keen to further develop the collaboration with national and international research institutes and industries through collaborative projects and scientific advice to the Wind Energy industry.
