About the role

We are seeking a Research IT Engineer responsible for all areas of supporting the CRUK CoL researchers in the usage of the centre’s HPC cluster. They will be working with other members of the Research Computing Support team base in the Department of Computer Science at UCL to support, design and implement a highly effective research computing platform.

The salary will be UCL grade 7 £42,099 - £50,585

About you

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree or significant practical experience in Linux system’s administration and/or experience working with a research computing facility. They will have an ability to communicate clearly at all levels, as well as a customer focussed approach to work and the ability to assist the researchers in running their pipelines on the HPC.
