We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to join the Faculty Professional Services team in the School of Social Work.
Working as part of a team, you will provide an efficient and high-quality administrative service to your academic and administrative colleagues within the School. You will be involved in a variety of activities, including supporting the organisation of events and projects that support student recruitment, student experience and the research culture of the School.
The School Administrator plays a vital role in maintaining and developing School communication channels, including preparing School bulletins, maintaining websites, looking after social media platforms and maintaining engaging communication displays around the buildings in which the School is located.
You will be providing a customer-focused service to students, staff and visitors and will be one of the points of contact for staff in the School. This includes maintaining a welcoming in-person presence in the School Office and ensuring staff have equipment and supplies to be able to work efficiently and effectively, including for hybrid working. You will be able to plan and prioritise effectively with strong attention to detail, good interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.
This full-time post is available from 1 July 2024 on an indefinite basis.
