The ideal candidate should have a multi-faceted background, combining a main focus on information technologies with operations, supply chain and manufacturing management as a primary application field.
This individual will be contributing to the offering of Information Management modules the division provides at the moment (Business Intelligence; The Intelligent Organisation; Supply Chain Technology), both at Undergraduate and Post-Graduate level. Also, this individual might be contributing to teaching in the areas of Operations and Supply Chain Management, emphasising the role of contemporary Information Technology for more efficient industrial operations. This individual could also potentially contribute to leadership roles within the division, especially in the area of Learning and Teaching.
You will take a pro-active role in enhancing our reputation for high quality and innovative teaching. You should be capable of delivering an excellent student experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
You will hold a PhD in a relevant area (or close to completion and/or equivalent qualifications/ experience) and have excellent teaching experience.
As a Senior University Teacher you will also be expected to show evidence of contributions to professional or pedagogical practice through previous funding for teaching enhancement activities, publication of teaching related outputs, or delivering specific external professional development programmes, and also have a well-established personal reputation and professional standing.
