The Centre for Language, Discourse & Communication (LDC) is a major centre for linguistics, applied linguistics and language in education. It runs a wide range of BA, Masters and Doctoral training programmes, and members conduct both basic and applied research on language, communication, society and education.
This is a fixed-term Lecturer position (Education pathway) in the School of Education, Communication and Society at King’s College London. The post holder will contribute to UG and PGT teaching, supervision, module leadership and curriculum design. There will also be scope to undertake scholarship in applied linguistics and to collaborate with colleagues in the Centre for Language, Discourse and Communication. The person appointed will hold at least an MA and preferably a PhD in a relevant field. They will have experience of teaching at UG and/or PG level in the area of applied linguistics and English language teaching, and they will have a passion for teaching and an interest in innovation in teaching and learning.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 1 year starting January 2019
This is a full-time post
