An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a team of experienced HE administration professionals in supporting the University’s postgraduate research students from application through to graduation and beyond. We are a small and vibrant team committed to continuous improvement of the student experience and the processes and systems we use to manage it.
Based in a central department and working collaboratively across the institution, the successful candidate will be familiar with working within and across teams to achieve organisational goals. You will be accustomed to liaising with a broad range of people and will show an understanding of the challenges faced by and opportunities open to postgraduate research students. Ideally you will have a working knowledge of Quality Assurance in higher education and the provision of student support.
You will work with the Assistant Registrar (Research Student Regulatory Frameworks) to manage the University’s centralised quality assurance processes, examination arrangements and regulations for Research students and act as secretary to the University’s Graduate Board. There will be opportunities for you to get involved in project work and other developmental activities as well.
Informal enquiries are welcome to Mrs Heather Lee, Assistant Registrar (Research Student Regulatory Frameworks) on 01484 472257 or email: Heather Lee at Heather.Lee@hud.ac.uk
