Faculty / Directorate
DMUlocal is an integral part of our Strategic and International Partnerships Directorate, where we work with city partners and local communities to develop innovative solutions to social challenges. This provides valuable support to the city of Leicester, and provides opportunities for our students to support their local communities. We work closely with partners on a national and local basis to develop beneficial relationships and a wide range of opportunities for all.
Two positions available.
The Assistant Research Fellow role requires an individual with a range of skills, knowledge and experience in action research, community engagement, analysis and reporting. You will be working within a small team dedicated to the delivery of the Leicester Pilot of the Arts Council England Creative Talent Plan, working with the cultural sector in Leicester and beyond, helping to shape an innovative programme for communities across the city, opening opportunity and developing new potential.
Ability to work across a range of partners, and experience in field interviews, working with families and liaising with a range of stakeholders are key requirements of this position.
We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual, with experience in gathering, analysing and reporting on a range of data in a range of environments and applications. We want an individual who is passionate about working within family setting, with an understanding of the impact this programme could have on long term outcomes, and help to shape the vision of the future for the communities involved.
