Dr Raul Fuentes has been awarded a 5 year EPSRC Fellowship called MOLE that aims to developing novel robotic systems that interact with the ground. You will join the team that will revolutionise robotics and ground interaction.
In this role you will work in a truly multi-disciplinary team alongside experienced roboticists. The team also involves a collaboration with the World-leading group led by Professor Itai Einav at the University of Sydney.
Holding a PhD (or close to completion) in the area of experimental or modelling of granular or particle systems’ dynamics, you will have a strong background in modelling of granular and / or particle dynamics and experience in undertaking experimental work in granular / particle dynamics, and an understanding of multiphase problems in granular / particle dynamics.
