Job Summary: Applications are invited for a three year industrially funded postdoctoral/associate professor position on molecular mechanism of plant response to temperature stress and plasticity development of plant roots. The project will be carried out in the Plant Stress Biology and Root Development Research Group led by Professor Zhubing Hu in the Key Laboratory of Plant Stress Biology, Henan University.
Essential requirements/ Duties and responsibilities: We are seeking an experimentalist with a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular biology, Cell Biology or Biological Science with experience in biochemistry and confocal microscopy. You will work in a highly collaborative team and experienced senior staff will give full training in plant biology. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a background in plant biology and a long-term interest in understanding plant development and plant stress biology. In exchange, we will work to develop your research skills and scientific independence. You will be expected to contribute directly to scientific publications and to present your work at China and international conferences.
In addition, we are also seeking research assistant with experience in biochemistry or molecular biology or microscopy observation and good communication skills. This is an opportunity to join Henan University.
Preferred start date from 8th March 2019.
The positions are full time and for a fixed term of 3 years in the first instance.
