SSoA came first in Architecture in the Guardian University League Tables for 2019. The 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF) has confirmed the School´s position as a world-class centre for architectural research, with 48% of our research assessed as 4*, representing world-leading quality and outstanding impact, and 37% as 3* (Internationally excellent). We have consistently been rated in the last two decades in the top 5 for research in the UK.
