The position

The University of Nicosia Medical School is seeking to recruit an Assistant Professor in Medical Ethics. The successful applicant will have current knowledge of the ethical principles that govern the practice of clinical medicine and scientific research. We are seeking applications from individuals in their early to mid-career, with a degree in Medical Ethics or related topic, who are enthusiastic and committed to student-centred learning.

Qualifications required

  • PhD (in a related field)
  • Teaching experience
  • Research experience
  • Publication record

  • A one-page research statement describing previous and current research as well as future plans
  • A one-page description of teaching experience
  • Two references
