Applications are invited for a Permanent post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Information and Communication Studies within UCD School of Information and Communication Studies.

We invite applications from scholars who can contribute to and expand our strengths in research and teaching in information and communication studies, with emphasis on the intersection of technologies, people, and information. We welcome applications from candidates with expertise in areas including but not limited to: digital media and platform studies, information design, social computing/social media, human-computer interaction, data analytics, artificial intelligence, information literacy, and other related topics.

It is anticipated that interviews will take place in January 2020. The appointed Lecturer will ideally commence in post on 1 September 2020.

95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar Salary Scale: €53,773 - € 84,544 per annum.

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
