Applications are invited for the above permanent, full-time post working in the School of Ocean Sciences, Bangor University.
The School of Ocean Sciences (SOS) is a multidisciplinary department with a focus on continental shelf sciences. Core research interests include physical oceanography, marine biology and ecology, biogeochemistry and climate change science. The successful candidate will actively contribute to the School’s interdisciplinary ethos and exploit the wide range of expertise and facilities available in the School and elsewhere within the University.
Duties will include research and teaching of marine biology at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Applications from candidates working in all areas of marine biology/ecology will be considered. However, research and teaching disciplines where the School has particular scope to develop include (in no particular order):
Candidates must be educated to PhD level (or equivalent) in marine biology or a related subject.
The successful candidate will be expected to commence 1st February 2020 or as soon as possible thereafter.
